As for the cast iron stove burner grates and pan support, the surface grinding and polishing is very important.
All corners need to be grinded carefully. No grinding is allowed on the front of the cast iron stove grate. If the other parts of the cast iron stove grate has burrs, wrinkles, sand burning or other defects, they should be polished to be clean and smooth. However, excessive grinding and blank leakage are not allowed.
Our Dandong Foundry generally adopts the following ways to do the rust prevention for the cast iron stove grates:
1. Coat the surface of the cast iron stove grates by high-temperature resistant paint.
2. Coat the surface of the cast iron stove grate by food grade anti-rust oil.
After shot blasting, we will put the cast iron stove grates into a plastic bag and put in enough desiccant.
