G10 is the lowest grade of gray cast iron in Italy standard UNI 5007. It is equivalent to EN-GJL-100 in European standard EN 1561.
The followings are the chemical composition, mechanical properties, typical applications and its other equivalent grades.
Chemical Composition for UNI 5007 G10 Gray Cast Iron:
The normal chemical composition for this grade is as the following:

Mn |
S |
P |
3.5 - 3.7 |
2.2 - 2.6 |
0.5 - 0.8 |
max 0.15 |
max 0.3 |
In standard UNI 5007, there is no requirement to the chemical composition, so the iron foundry could adjust their chemical composition as their experience, but the mechanical properties are the necessary requirement.
