SJK-400 is a very common ductile cast iron material grade in Norway standard NS11 301, which is equivalent to EN-GJS-400-15 in Europe standard EN 1563.
The followings are its chemical composition, mechanical properties and equivalent grades.
The Chemical Properties of NS11 301 SJK-400 ductile cast iron
In different material standards, the recommended chemical composition is different, so there is no mandatory stipulation to them. The iron foundries could adjust the chemical components according to their experience and production conditions, as long as they could meet the mechanical properties.
