GB 1348 QT500-7 ductile iron is a ferritic type ductile iron with medium strength and toughness and good machinability.
Characteristics and application range of ductile iron QT500-7:
At low temperature, the toughness changes to brittleness, but the impact value at low temperature is higher, and it has some resistance to temperature change and corrosion resistance.
Ductile iron QT500-7 is widely used in the manufacturing of internal combustion engine's oil pump gears, steam turbine cylinder baffles, water turbine value bodies, railway locomotives and rolling stocks, machine seats frame drive shafts, etc.
