EN 1563 EN-GJS-700-2 is a pearlitic spheroidal cast iron, which has a matrix almost completely pearlitic, with small amounts of ferrite around the graphite nodules.
According to the European Standard EN 1563 the spheroidal cast iron in European Union is indicated with the acronym:
EN-GJS-XXX-YY
EN = European Norm
GJS = Spheroidal graphite cast iron
XXX = number indicating the lowest tensile strength (Rm) in MPa
YY = Percentage elongation
This material grade has a high tensile strength, good wear resistance and a moderate machinability.
The technicians in our Dandong Foundry will advise you in choosing the suitable material to meet your needs.
