DIN 1691 GG35 Gray Cast Iron chemical composition, material properties, and equivalent grade.
Characteristics of DIN 1691 GG35 Gray Cast Iron:
DIN 1691 GG35 is an excellent wear resistance cast iron grade while still possessing reasonable machinability characteristics. DIN 1691 GG35 Gray Cast Iron can be hardened by conventional methods to RC50 on the bar surface.

As for normal grey iron, the chemical composition is not important comparatively. The iron foundries could adjust the compositions according to their experience as long as they could meet the physical and mechanical requirements.
Important Note:
As the material property values below are generalized figures only for quick reference and may only be applicable to certain test conditions. Thus, it is normal if you find the figures different from other reference sources that are based on a different set of test conditions.
