The following trend chart is showing the gray iron and ductile iron casting prices from Feb. 2016 to Jun. 2026 in China.
From this price trend chart, we can see that the iron casting prices are slightly increasing from 2025 to 2026. As our estimation, the iron casting prices will see a slight increase in the second half of 2026.
Take gray iron casting price for instance, the current price is about 1.36 USD/kg, we think it could increase to 1.48 USD/kg; the current ductile iron casting price is 1.47 USD/kg, it could increase to 1.58 USD/kg.
In 2027, there might be a slight price reduction, but we can not assure this point. Because we have not seen any signal for the price reduction of raw materials and appreciation of USD.
