ISO 1083 1987 Standard
for Ductile Iron
ISO 1083 1987 defines the grades and the
corresponding requirements for
spheroidal graphite cast iron, which is
also called as ductile iron or nodular
iron. The latest version of this
standard is
ISO 1083 - 2004, however, the
main content was not changed since
version 1987.
This standard was issued by ISO for stipulating the
physical properties of ductile iron.
This standard is
similar with the other standards for
nodular iron such as
ASTM A536
in USA, GB
T1348 in China and
KS D4302
in Korea.
