The following are the precautions for casting cast iron bearing housings:
1. The mold should be made finely, and the shape should be consistent with the size and structure of the bearing housing.
2. The pouring of molten steel during the casting process should be uniform to avoid deviations that affect the quality of the bearing housing.
3. During the heat treatment process, the temperature, time, and speed should be well controlled and should not be excessive or too short.
4. For the quality of the bearing housing, strict inspection should be carried out before shipment to ensure that its quality meets the standards.
