2. Specific application
2.1 ASTM A536 60-40-18 for pump
ASTM A536 60-40-18 is a kind of ferritic
ductile iron. The strength, elongation and impact value of this
material is higher than malleable iron. It has the capacity of
withstand large energy impact loads at room temperature. Its
capacity of withstanding of smaller impact resistance many times at
room and low temperature are both better than malleable iron. What's
more, it also has the anti-corrosion. It can be used to manufacture
the wheel of axial flow pump and turbine pump.
2.2 ASTM A536 65-45-12 for pump
ASTM A536 65-45-12 is a kind of ferritic ductile iron. Its
characteristic is similar with low-carbon steel which has a high
toughness and ductility. It has toughness - brittle transition
temperature and high impact value at low temperature. This kind of
ductile iron also has the performance of anti-corrosion and heat
resistance. It is mainly used to manufacture some parts which
require high toughness, plasticity and a certain shock value at low

comprehensive mechanical properties. It can withstand dynamic load
and static load. It is used to manufacture the pump, Pump cover, and
pump frame and bearing body of centrifugal impurities pump, the
skeleton parts of plastic pump and marine electric reciprocating
pump rod.
2.4 ASTM A536 80-60-03 for pump
ASTM A536 80-60-03, this material has high strength, hardness wear
resistance, a certain degree of plasticity and toughness. Yield
ratio is higher than 45 steel. In pump field. It is used to make
crankshaft and connecting rods electric reciprocating pump, metering
pump rod and disks etc.
