Special lost foam casting technique
Special lost foam casting technique is a new
lost foam casting technique which combines the lost foam casting
technique to the other techniques. It is an accurately fresh
technique. It uses bondless sand molds in order to lesson pollution,
so it is considered as "green casting industrial art" in the 21st
century.
Several kinds of lost foam casting technique:
1. Pressure lost foam casting technique
Pressure lost foam casting technique is a
new technique which connects lost foam casting technique with
pressure concretion crystallization technique. The advantage is that
it can reduce the defect of casting such as casting porosity, ripple
and shrinkages, so it can increase the density of casting and
improve the mechanical properties.
2. Vacuum low tension lost foam casting technique
Vacuum low tension lost foam casting
technique is a recombination of low tension anti-gravity pouring
technique and negative pressure lost foam casting technique. The
characteristics are that the equipment investment is less, the
casting cost is lower and the casting heat treatment is more
strengthened than die casting. Comparing to sand casting, its
accuracy is higher, production rate is higher and property is
better.
3. Vibrated lost foam casting technique
Vibrated lost foam casting technique is a
technique that adds some certain frequency and amplitude of
vibration during the process of lost foam casting to make casting
concrete under the vibrant field. This technique can reduce rough
and increase property. Its processing is simple, cost is low and no
pollution.
4. Semi-solidity lost foam casting technique
It is a new technique which combines lost
foam casting technique with semi-solidity technique, so it can
control the relative rate of liquid and solid state. This technique
can increase the density and size accuracy of casting and improve
the casting property.
5. Lost foam suspension casting technique
It combines lost foam casting technique and
suspension casting technique. The suspending agent is added to metal
liquid to produce a chemical reaction to increase the casting
property. The advantages are that the design is flexible, clean and
environment protection. It fits to complex casting and has a wide
perspective in the new century.
