Cast Iron Axle Support

Cast iron axle support is also called as shaft bracket or shaft support. The type of axle support includes front axle support, rear axle support and rear pivot support.

The material of axle support includes grey iron, ductile iron or cast steel. Tractor axle supports are usually made by grey iron grades HT150, HT200, HT250, or by ASTM CLASS 20, CLASS 30, CLASS 35. Auto axle supports are usually made by ductile iron grades QT400-18, QT450-10, QT500-7, QT600-3, or by ASTM 60-40-18, 65-45-12, 70-50-05, 80-60-03.

The fittings of axle support include axle support bearing, axle support bushing and axle support cover.

Front Axle Support

Front axle support is a tractor component which offers support to the front axles. Our foundry used high grade cast iron and other related materials to manufacture axle supports as per the requirements and specifications of our clients. The front axle supports have sturdy construction, excellent finish, high tolerance and longer service life.

Rear Axle Support for Passenger Vehicle

Rear axle support has two side pieces, each assigned to one longitudinal side of the vehicle. The rear axle supports for passenger vehicles are customarily connected to one another by two transverse tie bars.

Production Process

As for the large cast iron axle supports, most of iron foundries will use the resin sand casting process. As for the small axle supports and their fittings, normal green sand floor molding process and molding machines will be suitable. As for the large amount of axle supports for automotive industry, the automatic molding line will be necessary.
